In the society we live in today we are constantly bombarded by misinformation and distracted by trivialities. The problem is that most people accept everything the media and our leaders tell us as unquestionably accurate when, sadly, it isn't. The point I am trying to purvey through this work of art is that if we are only willing to ask questions, to think for ourselves, and explore new concepts, then lies become discernable and truth becomes obtainable.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Inspiring piece of work. I can see this one or Freeing the Imagination as classroom inspirational posters. Awesome how your art manages to be at the same time pretty, thought-provoking, funny and even... religious? Or am i off-base.

If everyone actually thought for themselves we wouldn't have these misunderstandings that have occurred because we all believed what somebody said rather than thinking about it / finding out about it for ourselves !
